McDonald’s has an education workshop every year aimed at elementary school kids in the Asian Market. In order to connect with Asian roots while empowering kids, I created a totem experience (yes totem poles are said to have started in China) in which kids could make an avatar that looked like them and then create their own totem based off of their interests and academic goals.
TOTEM AVATAR BUILDER
Avatar builder in which kids could create a character that looks like them by choosing hairstyle, eye color, etc and then chose the things that they are interested in creating their own personal avatar that they could then share on social media. They could also submit their totem avatar and have a bookmark made especially for them.
ENVIRONMENTAL GRAPHICS
At the workshop pull up banners showcase various on the totems created with the avatar builder by the students.
TAKE HOME GIFT
