DECCo Blood Pressure Medication for Novartis

Client Challenge:
Novartis introduced Decco, a groundbreaking medication aimed at improving vascular health by combining the effects of four different medications to increase vascular flow. Our challenge was to create a logo that visually represented this unique synergy while drawing inspiration from the elegance of the Art Deco era.

Insight & Strategy:
We recognized that Decco’s innovative approach to vascular health required a logo that conveyed both the sophistication of the Art Deco period and the scientific precision of the medication’s function. Our strategy was to use visual elements that highlighted the increase in vascular flow, creating a distinct and memorable brand identity.

Execution:
Our comprehensive branding approach for Decco included:

  • Logo Design: Created a logo that subtly hinted at the combination of four medications. The design featured geometric shapes and clean lines characteristic of Art Deco, symbolizing the structured and methodical approach of the medication.
  • Graphic Elements: Incorporated visuals that echoed vascular dilation, using flowing lines and curves to represent increased blood flow and improved vascular health.
  • Color Palette: Selected a sophisticated color palette inspired by the Art Deco era, using deep blues and golds to convey trust, reliability, and luxury.
  • Typography: Chose elegant, yet modern fonts that complemented the overall aesthetic, ensuring readability and a professional appearance.

Tagline Development:
“Innovative Synergy for Vascular Health” – This tagline highlighted the unique combination of medications and their collective impact on improving vascular flow.

Creative Elements:

  • Visual Identity: Developed a cohesive visual identity that extended across all materials, from packaging to promotional content, reinforcing the brand’s sophisticated yet scientific image.
  • Marketing Collateral: Designed brochures, posters, and digital assets that featured the logo and graphic elements, explaining the benefits of Decco in a visually appealing manner.
  • Educational Materials: Created detailed infographics and explainer videos that illustrated how Decco works at a cellular level, enhancing understanding among healthcare professionals and patients.

Results:
The launch of Decco was met with positive reception from both healthcare professionals and patients. The logo and visual identity successfully conveyed the sophistication and effectiveness of the medication, establishing Decco as a trusted name in vascular health. The elegant design resonated well, reinforcing the brand’s message of innovative synergy and improved vascular flow.
